Residents of King County in need of support may find some with a new program from the local chapter of the United Way.
All this month, The United Way of King County will be delivering free boxes of food to families and households that are struggling to stay afloat amid the coronavirus pandemic. To qualify for the free assistance, applicants only need to:
Live in King County
Be unable to access their local food bank in person
Be unable to afford groceries
Applicants do not need to provide their immigration or documentation status to receive support. The United Way says their only goal is to help serve everyone in need, regardless of their immigration status.
