Thank goodness the Emerald City is a leading tech hub. Over the past few months, Seattleites have dabbled in virtual classrooms, virtual exercise classes, virtual concerts, and now, virtual theatre.
Seattle's beloved 5th Avenue Theatre, one of America's leading musical theater companies, officially announced its 2020-2021 season will take place virtually.
It's a landmark decision, given the theatre has hosted a variety of theatre productions and motion pictures since it opened in 1926.
The nonprofit theater company and the region's largest performing arts employer, the 5th Avenue Theatre will occur as a collection of reimagined digital content called "The Essential 5th Digital Collection."
