Prospective home buyers are finding more options around Western Washington, with plentiful inventory, recently announced increases in lending limits, and moderating interest rates over the past few weeks.

It continues to be a more balanced market than the area has seen in a while, but there's still room for the local real estate scene to help home buyers even more.
Months of inventory are still slim compared to historical norms, after all. According to the latest Northwest Multiple Listing Service Report, both King County and the NWMLS market area overall have 2.3 months of supply -- a drastic improvement from where the market was earlier in the year when King County has 0.88 months of supply.
