Amy is a U.S. citizen but has been living in Amsterdam for five years. And for the last two years, she’s rented this two-bedroom, under-1,000-square-foot apartment for two years. It’s a lovely and bright space that Amy has filled with pops of warm color. But perhaps one of the best things about the home is what you see out of the windows.
“My home is light and bright with lots of color and affords me the most quintessential Amsterdam view from my front terrace. I love it here!” Amy writes of her home’s views of Rijksmuseum.
Amy says her favorite room in the home is the apartment’s open living and kitchen area thanks to the “three floor-to-ceiling windows that face the Rijksmuseum.” And though Amy says she didn’t have to do any big renovating of this space, she did add her personality to the apartment with the gorgeous green rental-friendly peel-and-stick wallpaper in the kitchen.
