After nine months of living in a “luxury” apartment and using the poorly designed bathroom in it, I’m certain I could design the perfect bathroom. The most important thing I would include is plenty of built-in storage. My setup has two measly under-sink drawers and a slim medicine cabinet. As you can imagine, my roommate and I have found it challenging to accommodate all of our essentials — including toilet paper.
Because there’s no space under the sink or in our storage carts for extra rolls, we used to just keep the rolls on the floor in their plastic packaging. Not only was this ugly to look at, but the bulky rolls would also take up way more floor space than I figured was necessary. In looking for a solution, Yamazaki naturally came to mind. So many of my colleagues love the brand’s home organizers, and I decided it was time to finally try one for myself. I opted for the Tosca Toilet Paper Stocker. It was the simple-but-effective improvement my bathroom needed.
What Is the Tosca Toilet Paper Stocker?
Like all of Yamazaki’s offerings, the toilet paper stocker sports a minimalist design that looks so much better than your average home organizer. A round base keeps the 15-inch column stationary, which is important because that’s where you put your rolls. The extension can hold up to three standard-sized toilet paper rolls at a time, and thanks to the stocker’s small circumference, you’re able to place them right next to the toilet for easy access. The stocker is made from steel and wood, so you can rest assured that it won’t tip over or prove flimsy. Its two-toned design is quite nice to look at, too. If you wanted to, you could even use the organizer as a paper towel dispenser, as one Yamazaki reviewer pointed out.
